404 Error

    After developing some issues with my site and needing to refesh it anyway, I decided to wipe the whole thing and do a fresh install. Once I had WP up and running, I set the homepage to display a static page and created a simple page for that.

    When I go to my site, it continually returns a 404 error for the homepage. I tried the usual resetting the permalinks and manually editing the .htacess file with no success. I’ve tried different themes and have disabled all my plugins. I am able to preview the page from the edit window.

    Help?

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.
