404 error
-
Good day. I am having issue with a 404 error with the message ‘Oops! That page can’t be found.’ Some background information: I am creating a small e-store with user account possibility. I am using Elementor edit my pages. I run my user profiles through UsersWP. I am currently using the ‘Retail Shop’ theme. This error started after I changed the name and slug of my homepage, and only occurs when I log out of the dummy account on the website. I am not a trained professional, so I am learning still. I tried to troubleshoot it online, but it didn’t help. I believe it is a redirect error, and I attempted to use a redirection plugin, but the page that the error is displayed is the same as the regular homepage. When I log out, the error displays, but when I am logged into the dummy account, all the menu items work fine.

Hi,
It looks like your site is using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but is hosted with another webhost.
We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us here at WordPress.com. For help with a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you’ll need to ask over at the WordPress.org forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Depending on the level of support that is included with your hosting plan, your webhost’s support team may also be able to assist.
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open-source WordPress software you can read this article:
