404 error – cannot login

    I am helping a friend with his site and I seem to have made things much worse. He has ajsmusiccafe.com – a wordpress.com site and was having problems with it and so created a new self-hosted non-wordpress site – ajsmusicafe.com. He wanted people to be able to go to his wordpress.com address but reach his self-hosted site.

    So I went into settings and changed the url directory it was supposed to point to. So now it seems to think it is going to another wordpress.com site that doesn’t exist. I get a 404 error that the wp-admin doesn’t exist – right – it doesn’t.

    So now I try to login in the admin for the site and it won’t let me it. Not for either site.

    So where is the site now? How do I log into it? Thanks for any help!

    It sounds like you made those changes on the self-hosted WordPress.org blog, since you can’t change a URL directory here.

    If so, you’ll need to contact http://wordpress.org/support/ for help.
