404 page not found
-
i have set up an opt in form on my blog, with a free pdf as a gift i have linked this with an autoresponder campaign in getresponse
the problem is when someone opts in and submits there details a 404 message comes up instead of the page that i set up to give the free gift.
the prospect gets a generic email for get response and there email is collected but they don’t get to the page to get their free gift

The problem is that I cannot answer you because you failed to post the URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to. Please do that now.

Hi there,
What is the URL of the site you are receiving the 404 error? Is it a WordPress.com site?
There are not sites under the account you are contacting us from.
Thanks!

Hi there,
I’m sorry, but http://www.thejourneytowardssuccess.com/ is not hosted at WordPress.com. As such, we are unable to provide any direct assistance in this manner.
The fact that the site may have been built using WordPress, or may mention ‘Powered by WordPress’ (or something similar) simply means it is using the WordPress.org software, which can be downloaded and installed on any web host.
If you’re interested, you can learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
I would recommend getting in touch with Hostgator for support, or checking out these resources if your site was indeed built with WordPress software:
