500 error can’t access admin panel
-
Hlello!
I was trying to do some plugin updates on my company blog but the update ended in a 500 error and our blog is now down. I have read articles like this one: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-access-my-wp-admin-page-http-error-500/
But if i don’t have access to the hosting service or if it is hosted by wordpress…how can I disable plugins?
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: UnknownThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hello there,
As the site is not with WordPress.com, our support is limited.
A 500 error is a loading error, and so the hosting provider is best placed to help clear that.
If you’re able to obtain SFTP details for the site, you could access the plugins folder via wp-content > wp-plugins > and renaming the plugins would deactivate them.
I hope this helps.
