502 bad gateway

  Hello
  I am a filmmaker (not a programmer) and I was trying to update my site from .tv to .com. I changed my Site Address URL and Email address URL under settings. I don’t have a WordPress account that I am aware of for my site. The original designer only gave me a link years ago and that is how i sign in each time.
  So to cut to the chase, I get the 502 bad gateway code when I type in the new and old address.
  I’m wondering if the address I put in will ultimately start working or if I skipped a step.
  How can I fix this and get my website back up online?
