A Commenter cant undo 'notify me'

  Commenter wants to undo ‘notify me’. he’s receiving 4 emails (!) for every comment that is received on the blog that he commented on. We, as blog hosts cant seem to be able to help him. please advise.

  In every email your commenter receives there should be an “Unsubscribe” link. Have they tried that?
