  I’m evaluating to purchase Business Plan, but, for me is critical to collect information from my clients through forms and receive text files or xlsx from them.
  1. Can I do it with WordPress Business Plan?
  2. Can I create and manage a MySQL or PostgreSQL database connected with my Web site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  1. Can I do it with WordPress Business Plan?

  To let visitors upload files to the media library will require a plugin, but the Business Plan allows you to install those. You can see the file types permitted in the WordPress.com media library here:

  We accept several types of document files, as well as MS Excel files.

  But there might also be plugins that allow people to send you files directly, rather than uploading them to the media library. You can also do this via a contact form plugin, or a JotForm contact form which can be used even on free sites:

  2. Can I create and manage a MySQL or PostgreSQL database connected with my Web site?

  We do not provide direct database access on WordPress.com, so you won’t be able to manually create, access or maintain such a database. But you should be able to a plugin to do this, or to integrate with a database hosted somewhere else.
