A Familuy Blog
-
My blog is already set up, but when I go to change the settings to private, the option is not available. I only want invited quests to have access to the blog. Do not want a public blog.
Blog url: http://baudryfamilyblog.wordpress.com/The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The settings should definitely be available. I’ll mark this for staff to look at, in the meantime please ensure you are looking at the correct settings. Go to your dashboard, look at the left side and scroll down to ‘settings’. Click on ‘privacy’ and select the option ‘I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose’, then click the Save Changes button.

Are you logged is an Admin? If you are an editor you will not have the Privacy option visible

I just realized that I had signed up for wordpress with wordpress then also with my service provider.
The baudryfamilyblog.ca is the one I want to use and change the setting to private.
The baudryfamlyblog.wordpress is the old one that I do not want to use. (Can I get rid of this one?)
I followed your insturctions but the option for the privacy setting is not there on the baudryfamily.ca.
I also made sure that I was signed in as admin.
Very confused!

You will need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are now using – you will need to see if they have a Privacy Plug-in
Pardon the boiler plate below:
you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/
