  Just wondering if there is a way to block another blogger if their blog is private?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  What exactly you mean by blocking them? No being able to follow or view your blog?

  Yes the blog in question followed me, however their blog is set to private and hasn’t accepted my request. It sounds like a strange request I know, because plenty of people can access my blog without actually following. It’s just a little unsettling that they would follow, only to have their blog set to private, so I can not interact with them at all. The end goal is I want to make sure my stuff isn’t being stolen. That is the only logical reason they won’t accept my request. So if there is a way to block them from my blog without setting it to private then that is what I’m looking for.

  I think you are making a massive assumption here.

  There is no rule saying that someone must have a site connected to their username on WordPress.com, and if they do have a site connected there’s no rule saying that site must be private, or even a WordPress site for that matter.

  If the site linked to their username is set to private it simply means they are posting content on their site that they don’t want visible to the entire web. It does not mean they are doing something underhanded. It can as simple as they have a site where they post pictures of their kids for the grandparents to see, but that they don’t want all the crazies on the web to also be able to access.

  If that means they’re not allowed to follow your site, the only way to prevent it is to set your own site to private so only the people you invite can see it. We don’t force our users to have public sites connected to their accounts before they are allowed to follow other sites, and there is no option to block anyone in any way from following a public website.
