a website not a blog

    somehow I have 2 blogs where all i wanted was a website, I can’t seem to delete the blogs though and I can’t seem to find how to build the website, can anyone help with either of these please?

    Hi there!

    You can delete one of the sites that you don’t want by following the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/

    Note that if you delete a site, you won’t be able to reuse the address in the future. So make sure you delete the one that has the unwanted address.

    As for the blog vs. website, the main difference between the two is how your site is presented to the visitors. A blog usually has the latest posts at the top whereas a website usually has static pages like Home, About, Contact, etc.

    To create a website layout for your site, you can create a few different pages and make one of them the homepage of your site by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/pages/front-page/

    When that’s done, your homepage will display the static page you created. You can then add the other pages to the menu by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/menus/
