A widget photo showed when I posted instead of the posts photo.

  All of my posts are on publicize, I posted for the Weekly Photo Challenge and it usually shows on my Facebook as the photo used in the post. This time, for some reason, it used the photo on my sidebar widget. I don’t want to remove the widget, is there something else I can do for the post photo to show rather than the widget?

  Hi there,

  We send Facebook the image or images in your post when it’s Publicized, but ultimately we can’t control what image Facebook chooses to post there. You can check to see what Facebook sees (and if it gives any errors about the image in your post) by pasting the link to your post in the Facebook debugger:

  https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

  If it’s using the wrong image, you can click the “Fetch new scrape information” button to ask Facebook to refresh the information from your post. That may be enough to get Facebook to grab the right image.
