Abnormal number of views and AI

  In the past 48 hrs., my blog statistics has over 900 views or similar. In fact, blog was automatically given “World Domination” cred/notice. I don’t have referrals in my dashboard. Alot of the views have come from 1 country (China). I can only assume it’s AI bot /stored searches? Is there a way for me to show the referral info. or is that additional cost to get the data.

  Hi there, that could be automated traffic, though stats alone won’t usually tell you whether it was an AI crawler specifically. Jetpack Stats filters most known bot traffic, but some bot visits can still appear before they’re detected and filtered: https://wordpress.com/support/stats/understand-your-sites-traffic/#about-bot-traffic
