We are a FRC team of FIRST Robotics Competition
(FRC, https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/frc). Our team number is 8020 (https://frc-events.firstinspires.org/team/8020). Since we are going to build a website on WordPress.com, we would like to ask your assistance of releasing the un-used domain frc8020.wordpress.com for us. This domain was taken away by someone who is not a member of frc8020, and the website is almost empty and don’t have any content.We hope to use this domain which will be managed by our school official robotics management team ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). Would you please let me know how to proceed the request and make it available for us?
We would love to continue using WordPress.com to build our team website for future development.Best regards.

Hi there,
We do not currently recycle blogs for users. The only way to claim that blog is to contact the owner and have them agree to transfer the site over to you. As they are the owner, they will have say over what will happen to the site, even if it is a neglected site.
