ABout me page

I would like to create an about me page that doesn’t show up as a blog post on the main page. Is it possible to make a category “About” that shows up in my menu and can be viewed by clicking on, and only being able to view it then.

If not, is there another way to go about this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like you’ve assigned your “About” page as your front page at Settings > Reading. To get your “About” page back to normal, create another page with no content, titled “posts” or “blog” if you like, but the title is up to you. Then, at Settings > Reading, assign that page as the page on which your latest posts display.

See the Front Page support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/.

You’ll also probably want to include a header navigation menu link to the posts page. This can be done with by adding a custom link, with the Links module, to your custom menu. Like your other menu links, your present “blog” link directs to a category archives page — in this case displaying posts with the category “blog” assigned — not to your posts page.
