yes, they have to sign up to wordpress.com in order to be allowed access. The system needs to know that they are verified users somehow!
yes, they have to sign up to wordpress.com in order to be allowed access. The system needs to know that they are verified users somehow!
but, they can read my blog already….

I can only think that you haven’t set the blog to “visible only to users I choose” in the privacy settings. This might help
-
actually,i did.
I choosed “I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose”
cos “up to 35 users allowed to access blog“,I added some users‘ name of my
friends. All I want to know is where is the list of users’ name which i have added, and what can i do with the list, such as:delete a users’ name in this list..
-
I have never done this but looking at the link
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
it appears that there should be a list of users on the privacy settings page, with an [x] to delete each one

I don’t know if this will help or not. I go to Dashboard, then go down the left side of page to Users. There you will see all people who you have accepted and assigned roles. If you check the box beside the person’s name, then go up to Bulk action and select remove. That should do it.
Now maybe you just want to undo the invite for people you haven’t yet accepted. Go to Dashboard, to users, to Invites. There you will find all your invites. Click on Delete next to name you want to disinvite.

A person has access to my blog currently; she was given that while I still used msn live space; I don’t know if the authorization was also transferred from the old setting; however, I found nobody’s name under “user” in Dashboard because I did not choose anyone. How could she still have the access?
-
Go to settings > privacy and check in the list of users there. That is where you enter visitors you want to be able to read your blog. I don’t know if the people authorized to read your blog was transferred in the process or not.
If that person is there, you can remove them if you wish.
