Absence of install theme button

    Bought a theme from elegant themes and cannot see how to upload said theme to the site! help!

    Hi there,

    Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org

    On WordPress.com, you can select from a variety of themes to change your blog’s appearance. We offer over 210 themes, both free themes and premium themes created by leading theme companies. You can view all of our themes and filter them by specific criteria here:

    If you let me know what theme you purchased from Elegant Themes, I can help you find out if it’s available to purchase and use here at WordPress.com. (Either way, I’d recommend asking Elegant Themes for a refund, as there isn’t a way to upload themes to WordPress.com sites.)
