Absolutely confused by logins

  I have a website that I started a week ago using my own domain. I cannot seem to log in to my “account” when I can easily log in to my website and make changes on the dashboard. I am very frustrated with this .com / .org confusion. Now I have just created a new account but it apparently has nothing to do with my week old account!

  I started a blog at http://www.HelpSharkRiverHills.com last weekend. I can log into to it fine and update it. I tried adding Akismet and I have been in a loop ever since then trying to get an API. The site title is SRHPOA LTRC. I have tried “logging in” but apparently don’t have an account. I broke down and created an Account that is apparently warrenlapp.wordpress.com but this has nothing to do with my WordPress page I created. People consider me somewhat intelligent but I have gotten very tangled up in what I thought was a simple process. I bought a domain, I bought hosting, I cannot make heads or tails of wtf I am in WordPress.
