Access domain purchased with Premium Plan

  I purchased a domain in May 2018 when I signed up for Premium. I deleted the site but now what to rebuild using the purchased domain. EWhen I try to create a site I can’t use the domain. How do I use the domain I purchased?

  It appears my domain is still mapped to a site. How do I unmap the domain?

  Wordpress support: it appears from previous posts I need to ask for a modlook? Please remove domain mapping for my domain: itsaboutpictures.com

  Hi there,

  There is no mapping for that domain that needs to be removed. You cancelled that domain on 23 November, and it has not been released yet so is not available to be registered again.

  Luckily in this case we are still able to restore it to your account – when you cancel a domain you give up ownership of it, and there’s no guarantee your domain provider will be able to restore it later, or that you’ll ever be able to register it again, so you should only do it if you’re absolutely do not want the domain any more.

  Go to https://wordpress.com/start/site/ and create a new site at a free WordPress.com address. Also select the free plan on the plans step. Let me know once you’ve done that and I can reactivate the domain on the new site for you.

  Okay, I’ve reactivated your domain and moved it to the new site, so you’ll now be able to access it again at My Site ->Domains.
