access old site

  Hi, I’m trying to access an old blog from many years ago. I no longer own the domain address, so the link of course does not work. I still see the site in my WordPress account, and it says it’s visible on my dashboard. But when I go to my dashboard it says I have one site hidden. Is this content still stored by WordPress and can I access it?

  Hi there!

  I checked your domain and found that it was never hosted on WordPress.com. It was a self-hosted WordPress.org site (hosted by a different company) that was once connected to your WordPress.com account via Jetpack. That’s why you still see the site connected. Because it was never hosted by us, we don’t have any of the site’s content on our servers.

  We can remove the Jetpack connection if you want. But for the site content, you’d need to contact the hosting company for help.
