Access restriction

  Hi, I would like to restrict access to some users only. I just found some plug-ins, which I cannot upload to my blog. Is there some way to do it? Btw, I have absolutely no experience with blogs and I am in general not good in technical things. Can you please give me simple advices.

  While plugins are common on self hosted WordPress sites, due to security concerns, they are not available on WordPress.com. There is more info regarding WordPress.com and plugins here:

  There are really only two ways to restrict access on WordPress.com sites:

  Password protecting individual posts/pages:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/

  Or making your site private:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
