Accessing a site as an author (admin no longer exists)

    Hi, I work for a company and have author (not admin) access to a site belonging to my department that we need to edit. However, the person who created the site that needs editing has now left the company and we don’t have any log in/contact details – furthermore, the email address they used to set it up will no longer exist. Is there any way to access the site that we need to edit? Many thanks.

    Hi –

    You’ll need the owner to transfer the site to an account that’s still actively involved with the project. Please understand that they are under no obligation to cooperate. We aren’t able to give out any contact or account details.

    If the company paid for any upgrades, though, you would be able to recover the account with the transaction details. See here:
