Accessing a site whose domain no longer is used for the site
-
So we need to access a site that we used to use on WordPress, but migrated to the CMS Brightspot. However, there are articles that we weren’t able to migrate, so my question is: would we be able to access that past WordPress site, even though the site is now hosted on Brightspot? We would just love to save those articles.

Hi there,
I do not see any sites under your @cfacbyu WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

So the URL is comms.byu.edu. It’s now hosted on Brighspot, so you might not be able to access it anymore. It also might be under a different login, I’m actually not sure.

Hello there,
If the site is with Brightspot, we won’t be able to access that for sure.
We’d recommend reaching out to their support team to see if they help with gaining access to that.
