accidentally deleted comments

  Hi there,
  I’m new to receiving comments and accidentally deleted comments that were genuine but had been moved to ‘spam’ folder.
  Is there any way I can get them back?

  You should be able to go to Dashboard->Comments->Spam and un-spam them.

  Thanks for the quick reply. I clicked ‘Empty Spam’ button though, which I think does a permanent delete. Does this mean they’re gone forever?
