Accidentally deleted domain, restore needed

Hello, I need urgent help. I accidentally deleted my domain mindfinity.net from my WordPress.com account today and received the deletion confirmation email. I want to keep this domain. The public registry (Verisign RDAP) still shows it as ACTIVE, registered through Automattic, expiring 15 April 2027 – so the deletion has not yet been processed by the registry. Please restore the domain to my account as soon as possible, before the registry processes the deletion. Support does not respoond, they’Thank you.

Hi @thehedy! Good news… since the domain still shows as active in the registry, there’s a chance it can be restored, but you need to act fast as the window is very small.
Contact WordPress.com support directly right now at wordpress.com/support/contact/ and share the domain name and the deletion confirmation email. Community volunteers can’t access account or domain records, so the support team is your only path here.
Worth knowing: restoring a canceled domain may require a redemption fee of US$80, so be prepared for that when you reach out. Full details at wordpress.com/support/domains/cancel-refund-a-domain/
