Accidently created wrong username with sitename

I accidentally created a sitename with wrong username, but when I try to change the username to match the sitename, it says it’s already in use when it isn’t (I deleted both sites).
How can I make my username be xxjack12xx and sitename also be xxjack12xx? I was able to do this earlier but now I seemed to have messed it up where I can’t change either now.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You should now be able to rename your account name to xxjack12xx. After that you can reply back to me and then I will assign the blog to your account.

Hi,
I used this to help with a similar problem, and it worked however now i have TWO blogs, the one I’ve spent hours on this morning still has the name i set up the website with and now I’ve got an additional blog with the title of web address I wanted but no pages.How do I change the blog I’ve been working on to have the default address?

Now how can I delete the username punkrockdemo and punkrockdemo.wordpress.com so I can re-register it in the future?

If you want to permanently delete your site, follow the guide below:

When I try to register with the old information, it tells me:
Sorry, that email address is already used! Is (email visible only to moderators and staff) yours? Log in
Sorry, that username already exists! Is punkrockdemo yours? Log in
But I can’t login with the old credentials either.

Yes, I told you that above. If you delete something, you can never re-use it. Poof, gone forever.

I have the same problem as xxjack12xx …
I need to change my WordPress username (and subsequently the Gravitar and IntenseDebate profiles) to be the same name as the WordPress site, but when I try change it to bestbovine, it tells me “Sorry, that site already exists!” … I know the site exists, it’s mine, all I want to do is change the username to match it.
Can you please help me out?

I did up to step 4, that is where I get the error.
If I was able to proceed onto step 5, I’d be wanting to do the bullet that says: “Selecting “No, don’t create a matching blog address” will just change your username and make no changes to the address of your blog.”
