Account Access
-
I just changed my blog URL and put in the wrong email address. The ending (@whatever.com) doesn’t actually exist, nor does the hosting site so I cannot make a matching account. I also clicked forgot password because at first I didn’t know that I had put the wrong email address. Now I cannot access my previous postings and such. I’ve tried logging in under my username instead but because of my forgot password mistake, there is no email address I can log into to click the recovery link. Please help I’m freaking out!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no need to freak out. Not to worry because we have an account recovery process that you can use. Please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

I don’t have any of the required information though. I would have to have access to the account first, which I couldn’t get to because I panicked and clicked forgot password before I realized that I had entered in the wrong email. The activation URL or key would be in the email, which doesn’t exist at all.

Hi there!
I’m a little confused about what you’ve lost access to. Is it an account? Or a site? Can you give me the URL or username?
