  Hello. I need help with restoring another account which I deleted by mistake. I tried ‘restore account form’ but the email link with the URL sign up is shown as invalid. It was 4-5 days ago and I would like to restore my account because I made a mistake deleting it.

  What is the username of the WordPress.com account you deleted? I will have to email the address connected to that account to confirm ownership before re-opening. Let me know, thanks!

  No sorry, that was the email handle. The wordpress username was coachoncoach

  I found the deleted username magonhub with the email address you provided, but there is not a username coachoncoach. To confirm, magonhub is the account you want reopened?

  Yes, magonhub is the account username and the email that I used to register is the same

  Ok, do you still have the account deletion confirmation email? If so, just reply to that and we’ll get the account restored.

  DONE. I replied to 2 emails – one was for the delition of the account and the second one was for the deletion of a wordpress address I created which I would like to recover as well. I hope it is possible. Thanks again for the answers and the help !

  Hello. The account was restored. Thank you very much, I really appreciate the help. Is it possible to delete these board message, or at least my posts where I share username and email? For privacy reasons.

  We don’t delete forum threads or comments unless it represents a security issue.

  WordPress.com usernames are considered public information, and is revealed whenever you post in the forums or comment on/publish a post on any public site, so we don’t delete those.

  Your email address was automatically redacted when you posted here, so only those of us on staff have the ability to see it, but I’ve edited that comment to remove it completely.
