Since I switched hosting from WordPress.com to Hostinger, I keep getting locked out of my WordPress account. I flushed my DNS yesterday and that seemed to help–I got in. However, it seems today all changes I made on site did not take and I again cannot get in. DNS flushing now does nothing.

Adding some info to my question: I had 2 different WordPress.com accounts connected to 2 different email addresses. One was a free account, the other a paid one that I created the site with originally before switching hosting to Hostinger (and pointing URL to Hostinger’s name servers). The email I am using with the Hostinger account is the one I used for the free WordPress account. But when I get locked out of my website and it tells me I don’t have privileges, it always uses the username I had on the free WordPress account, which I didn’t use on the paid WordPress account I made the original site in. Also, the first site I made in that paid WordPress account had a different URL but I changed that before I moved to Hostinger. Several times when I got locked out yesterday, it sent me back to that original URL.

Thank you. I did get in yesterday and make a bunch of changes, which stuck. I would be grateful if you followed your hunch and made sure I was all square with my domain and WordPress accounts. My domain is barkavenue-mogadore.com. Thank you!

barkavenue-mogadore.com is not with this WordPress.com account.
Do you have access to the account that does? If yes, you would need to change the name servers of the domain to point toward Hostinger, as per these instructions: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/change-name-servers/
Currently, the DNS of the domains:
ns1.dns-parking.com ns2.dns-parking.comhttps://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/barkavenue-mogadore.com
These don’t look quite right…

I moved my domain to Hostinger. Those nameservers are Hostinger’s.
Good news, though. I have been accessing my account no problem for a couple days. So I think maybe there were some name servers out there still pointing to WordPress.com. Hopefully.

I checked your domain, and no records are pointing to WordPress.com anymore. Also, when I visit it, it loads a site hosted by Hostinger. So, I think that everything is configured correctly.
