Account access when email address doesn't exist
-
Hi! I’m asking this question using a newly created account because I can’t recover my original WordPress.com. My WordPress.com account is linked to my self-hosted account via Jetpack. I’ve come to log in to my WordPress.com account after months of happiness, and previously no real need to log in. After all this time I realised I used a non-existent email address… it simply doesn’t exist. Is there a way to gain access to the original account that’s linking my WordPress .com to my WordPress.org site? The problem is that none of the advanced recovery methods will work because I was using a free account and never received an activation or recovery email because they were going to the wrong place! Also, I never got as far as registering the second factor of authentication or saving the very complex password to my password vault!
This was a perfect storm of inconvenience right here… any help would be very appreciated… not keen on losing all the stats I’ve accumulated! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Can you please tell us the address of your Jetpack-connected site and the username of the account it’s connected to so we can take a look?
