  Hi,

  Is there a way I can download my site data in HTML file?
  I’m planning to delete my blog permanently but I want to download everything first before doing so (my posts, pages, comments, etc.) as an HTML file so I can view anytime as if it’s still my blogsite.

  Hi there,

  Yes, you can download your site content to an .xml file which contains all of your post and page content. You can do this by exporting the site. You can export your media library separately by following the directions here:

  Hi,

  Yes, I came across that feature. But I was looking for something like when you download your data on Facebook and Twitter, as HTML file, where you can open them on browser as if it’s still your Facebook/Twitter account.

  These ones just give me xml files with a bunch of codes.

  We do not have something available like that at this time.

  The WordPress export file is intended to be imported into other WordPress installations, or other blogging services that support the format.
