Do you need to unsubscribe from emails you’re receiving, or do you want to remove your account?
You can block all WordPress.com email by checking the box next to “Block Emails” in your email delivery settings. There’s a link at the bottom of each subscription email, or you can log in and update your settings here:
http://wordpress.com/#!/read/subsettings/If you wanted to get rid of the account, please understand that your username can’t be deleted. You can change the address and the password to lock yourself out. Or, you can simply leave the account inactive until you’d like to use it again for any of our services.

The username can only be deactivated, not deleted. We can delete you from it (locking you out) or you can do that on your own with a throwaway email address.
