account deleted and activation URL is ‘not valid’
-
hi guys! i’m posting from another account that i created just to ask about deleted account (no idea why it was deleted!) – i tried ‘recover account’ with the option of ownership: the activation URL but it keeps saying that it is not valid. i don’t know what else to do :(

Hi –
Do you have the email notification that gets delivered when an account is deleted? Write back to that email directly and we can help you get the account restored.

HI,
no, i have not received any notification/email about deleting the account – when I try to log in it says ‘this account was blocked’ – no email about it was sent. when i try the ‘recover the account’ and ‘use activation url as a proof of ownership’ and i copy the url from the activation button it tells me ‘it is not valid’….
:(

We definitely send an email when you delete your account. If it’s not in the inbox of that account’s email address, please check the spam folder.

I did not delete my account – it was for some reason blocked.
I can still see the blog https://europeanvolunteerspoland.wordpress.com/ but I can’t access it – is there anybody that can unblock it? I only have the activation email from when I created it. -
Hi there,
WordPress.com accounts cannot be “blocked”. The only blocking we have is when we temporarily block logins for an account following multiple attempts by someone to log into the account using the wrong password in a short time. But those blocks only last a few hours, and there’s no evidence of such a block being applied on that account.
If you have access to the correct email address for that account, just try a regular password reset, here:
