Account deleted, but can I still recover it to transfer the domain to a new site?

    Hello, I’m trying to transfer my domain name to another website, but I made the mistake of deleting the account before the transfer even took place, which I’m no longer able to log in. After filling out the online Account Recovery Form, it wouldn’t allow me to click submit, and a notification popped up at the top of the page: ‘Sorry but the website you gave does not exist on WordPress.com. Is it a self-hosted WordPress.org website?’

    Any advice would be help. My goal is to be able transfer the domain over.

    What is the domain and the username of the deleted account?

    When you deleted the account, we sent you an email to confirm that it has been done. Please reply to that email for help reactivating the account and restoring your domain.
