Account downgraded
-
I have had money come out of my account and didn’t realised it was for my website as I haven’t set the direct debit so we have reported it. Now my website has been downgraded and looks awful. Is there a way to pay it and have my website back?

Hi,
What is the URL of the site in question?
I’m not seeing any upgrades associated with the WordPress.com user account you are posting from. This typically happens when you’ve ended up with a second WordPress.com user account and that second account is the one that owns the upgrade. You’ll need to log into THAT account in order to make any changes.
If you do not have access to that second account, here are a few options:
Account recovery overview – https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
Lost password tool – https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Account recovery form – https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recoveryFinally, even if you do not have access to the correct account, if you have your payment information you can use our “Why was I charged?” tool. It was built for situations such as this:

The URL is littlegemsaldershot.co.uk because I haven’t paid the fee the website was shut down without any notice. I am trying to fill in the recovery form but it doesn’t work it tells me that I need to change the password. I can’t log into that account as it seems non existent.
Please help

Hey there,
Are you able to pull up the transaction ID from your bank statement? If so, you can use the transaction ID on your bank statement from when you purchase the upgrade to submit account recovery form
If you are unable to fill out the form, please contact our Account Recovery Team directly at
