  Hello! My account seems to have been duplicated

  Hi there,

  Can you please give me more information on that? It’s not possible to have a duplicate account on WordPress.com. Each account uses a unique email address that cannot be used on another account.

  Thanks – they both have the same email address.

  It’s very strange. The user names are different through – one logs on as (email visible only to moderators and staff) and the other as catherinequinn.

  I’ve sorted it now, I think. Managed to logon to both. No idea who owns catherinequinndotcom though ….

  I used the wp-admin address to get access to the one that wouldn’t let me change the password

  Could you have one WordPress.com account and then a login for a site built with the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org)?

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  That could give you a situation where you were using the same email for both sites.
