Account information has disappeared and I cannot edit it.

    Hi there,

    Can you tell us more about the trouble you are having? I’ve visited your site and it appears to be displaying correctly from what I can see. What info would “normally” be there but is missing now? Is this something I can see on some other page aside from your homepage? Can you share a link so we can see it with our own eyes and investigate?

    Thanks for your response. I managed to rectify most things by logging out and in again and then was not sure even whether my message had been posted anywhere as it had only allowed me to insert a title and not any message text.

    I tried to upload a screen shot just now to show you the screen I got, but I am getting the message that I am not allowed to upload any images. I get the message “Sorry you are not allowed to upload posts as this user” So I have uploaded it to the image bank on my site if you are interested to see it. The screenshot showed that my Account Information page was blank and it was requesting my primary site info but would not allow me to enter anything.

    The only thing missing when I logged out and in again, was my profile picture on Gravatar, so I have uploaded one and rectified that.

    I think that everything is now working OK.

    Gotcha, thanks for clarifying. I’ve seen your screenshots and have to say this is a new issue that I have not seen before (and have not seen reported by other site owners) so I’m glad that things seem to be working for you. However, if this comes up again please leave things as they are so we can take a closer look while it’s broken and investigate.
