Account is closed, and I can’t recover it
-
Hello.
My account that I opened close to ten years ago has been closed without my knowledge, and I’m unable to recover due to the fact that the methods put in place to recover accounts were instituted long after the creation of mine. Therefore, I don’t have any proof of ownership and no way to contact WordPress for help without creating a new account, which is the one I’m using now to ask for help. Could someone please help me recover my account so I can remove the blog as it has some personal information I’d like to remove?
Thank you.

Wordpress.com accounts are never closed without knowledge of the owner as only the owner is able to close an account.
What is the URL of your blog? -
I don’t have any records of WordPress informing me that the account would be closed yet it has been somehow. Here is the URL:

That site us up and running but is connected to another account of yours. Log out from current account and login again to the account connected to your old site.

That’s what I’ve been trying to do. WordPress is telling me that that account has been closed, which is why I had to make this new account in order to address the problem.

Hi there,
The account that owns https://patrickinasia.wordpress.com/ has not been closed. If it was, that site would also have been deleted.
Where exactly are you seeing that the account has been closed? If you’re seeing it when trying to log in using another username or email address, it means you’re trying to log into an entirely different account, that also isn’t the owner of https://patrickinasia.wordpress.com/
If you don’t remember the correct login details for that site, you can find our recovery options here:
