  I got a notification saying that someone was trying to log in to my wordpress account and is this true? Can you tell me what time did they try to login to my account please? Thanks!

  Hi there,

  We don’t send notifications when someone logs into a WordPress.com account.

  What you received is an email login link. That means someone typed your username or email address into the login form, causing our system to send a login link to your email address.

  Only someone with access to your email account can use that link, and it’s only valid for a limited time, so cannot be used for unauthorised access to your account. If you did not request the login link, just delete the email.
