  You can delete yourself from the account by removing any sites and data, then changing to a throwaway email address. You can also change the password to completely lock yourself out.

  If you might want the username later, you can block all WordPress.com email by checking the box next to “Block Emails” in your email delivery settings. There’s a link at the bottom of each subscription email, or you can log in and update your settings here:
