  I’m hosting a site through Bluehost. It has WordPress through the site. I downloaded the WordPress app and tried to sign in with my info, didn’t work. So I created an account but I can’t seem to connect it to my site that already exists and is using WordPress

  Hi there,

  Are you referring to the mobile apps, or the desktop app? What is the URL of your Bluehost site?

  To use the mobile app with your site, first check with your hosting provider, Bluehost, that XML-RPC is enabled on your server. Then you should be able to add the site to the app by selecting the option to add a self-hosted site, rather than signing into a WordPress.com account.

  To use the desktop app you’ll need to connect the site with a WordPress.com account. (This is not required for the mobile app, but will also make it simpler to use the mobile app with your site as it should then add your site there automatically if you log into your WordPress.com account.)

  To connect your site to WordPress.com you need to install the Jetpack plugin on your site, and then follow the steps in that plugin to connect it to your account. Go to WP-Admin ->Plugins ->Add New, search for Jetpack, and install it.
