  When attempting to register for a new WordPress account we found our corporate name already in use as a username. We have had a lot of turnover over the last few years and believe a former employee may have previously registered us for WordPress. How can we confirm that the username is in use without provided one of the three confidential keys required? And can you confirm what email address it is registered to?

  If the username already exists, we can only give you access to it or tell you the email address associated with it if you can provide verification that you own the account as explained at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  Without that verification we cannot give you any information about, or access to the account.
