Account Recovery
-
Hi, I am trying to recover an account set up under an old email address that I no longer have access to. I am trying to use the Account Recovery form, but do not have the authentication information it asks for and it won’t let me proceed with the process if I don’t check one of those options. My full name appears on the blog, though, and is also my email address. Can that be proof enough? Please help!

Opps. The blog I need help with is this one, actually:

Hi there,
If you don’t have any of the authentication info we won’t be able to give you access to the site. Full names are not unique – there can be other people among the 7+ billion on Earth with the same full name as you – so your name appearing on the site, or your name matching your email, is not proof that you own a specific site or username account.

I am aware that there are 7 billion people on this planet. However, the website contains personal information about me that appears in search results and I’d like to better protect my privacy. Is there anything at all that I can do to either prove my identity or delete the page?

I’ve sent an email to the address connected to your account. Please reply there if you have any further questions.
