Account recovery?

  Hi,

  I used to have a blog under my primary email address. I deleted it was no longer needed.

  I was trying to reuse the email address to sign up to Gravatar, but was denied because it was ‘already in use’ and then of course, a ‘deleted account’. How I do I reuse my primary email address, because I don’t wasn’t a blog, I need Gravatar!

  Is this possible?

  I tried to use account recovery, but I don’t have any of the information needed to progress through the form. I’ve had to set up this account just to get in touch with support!

  Hi there,

  What is the email address you’re trying to use? If you type it on its own line here, it will be hidden for everyone except staff.

  Accounts are only completely deleted after 30 days, so if you closed the account recently the email address might still be connected to it, and will only be released once it’s deleted completely.

  When you closed the account you would have received a confirmation email. Please reply to that email to request that we manually delete the email from the closed account immediately.
