Account recovery not working

    I have been trying to re-gain access to an old site of mine for years now, but have not been able to because the email address on the account no longer exists. And because I cannot access the email inbox, I do not have one of the three pieces of info required to get through the Account Recovery process. There is no WordPress customer support that I can speak with because I do not have a paid account to access Live Chat. I need help from staff/an actual person, please.

    If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the site was registered, a transaction ID, or the original activation link, we won’t be able to help you recover the account.

    We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.
