    WP account recovery when my WP site is hosted by third party hosting

    The account recovery form stalls as my site is hosted by a third party. I don’t understand this. I can manage my site through WP, my hosting company pays them for this, and I pay the hosting company in turn, so to speak. Part of the service. I need to use WP to access the site, and I just want to reconnect my authenticator, which I cannot as that requires a code from my authenticator. My big miss was backup codes- I never got any.
