Account suspended

  Hello! It appears as though my WordPress site, dopplepop.wordpress.com, has been suspended. It happened last night when I was loading posts into my blog. At first, I couldn’t figure out why on earth the account would be suspended, but after reviewing the terms of service, it looks like I may have triggered something to do with spam content.

  Here’s the thing – in anticipation of building this site, I wrote 15 original posts. When me and my business partner got the site up and running, I was able to load them in pretty quickly. It may appear, based on the speed of posting alone, that this is unoriginal or automated content, but if you read the posts it’s clear they’re all originally written – they even have hand-drawn doodles for each one.

  I sent a contact message to WP but haven’t heard back yet. I was wondering what the process was to un-suspend an account, if there are any additional steps I need to take, and what kind of timeframe I might expect from this process?

  If you’ve reached out directly to the TOS team that is your best first step. You’ll just need to give the TOS team some time to review your appeal, and keep your eyes open for an email response from them. Good luck!
