  I am going to create a WordPress website for a friend. Do I create the site using my account login or do I need to create an account for the friend and use it? This is my first WordPress site, so I am not sure how the site transfer would work. I need to create a domain and website.

  If you are creating it on WordPress.com, it would be a lot easier in the long run for you to set up a user account for your friend so that they can access it later on. If you set the site up under your own user account, you will need to create an account for your friend later on and then use these instructions to transfer ownership:
