  You had a purchased premium theme on your account.

  I have removed that, so you can now close your account following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/

  Thank you for looking into this! Unfortunately it still will not allow me to delete the account. Is there something else keeping it from deleting? Thank you.

  There is nothing that would prevent your account from being deleted now.

  Please clear your browser cache – this could be a case of old data being stuck in your browser, preventing it from checking the account’s current status again.

  Hi there, I cleared my cache on my phone and attempted to delete the account on my work computer as well. Still same result. Can someone on the Support team delete the account for me and send me a confirmation email? I’m not sure what else to do at this point. Thank you.

  Unfortunately account deletion is one action each user must make on their own. We may be able to help you troubleshoot this though:

  What’s the exact message you’re getting? If we know what it is we can dig for more information.

  The pop up I receive is “Sorry, there was a problem closing your account. Please contact support.”
