Account wrongly charged and cannot find a way to contact you

  Hello,

  I am writing about a recent charge to my account for “WP Active Renewal” that I did not sign up for. In 2024 I made this account but never used it, and I have just checked, and there is no billing record there either. I am very stressed as I cannot contact a human without having a website but the whole point is that I do not use WordPress. The AI bot is useless.

  Can I please have a refund and explanation for this and can all future payments be cancelled?

  I tried but I don’t have a transaction number on my statement – it just says WP*Active Renewal

  That doesn’t look like a charge made by wordpress.com. Look through your recent emails for payment receipts or upcoming renewal notices matching the charge date and fee.
